More than 29 years of racing experience has given Kurt Henricksen the knowledge, techniques and patience for training future amateur and pro motocross racers.

Kurt won numerous 60, 80 and 125 class amateur championships. In the pro ranks, he raced for three of the top race teams — Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

At age 4, Kurt was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated as the youngest factory rider for Indian Motorcycles. Only three motorcycle riders have been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated — Kurt, Steve McQueen and Evil Kenevil.

Kurt knows what it takes to be on the pro level — he trained with top motocross racers like Jeff Ward during his championship years. Now Kurt works with established amateur champions like Mike Alessi and Shane Bess and new up and comers like Michael Leib.

For the past five years, Kurt has incorporated his self-discipline, racing experience and dedication to the sport into teaching motocross classes and giving private lessons.
